It's very impressive, but I do have one complaint. Your line quality is very sketchy, and you should really work on making single-pass lines rather than petting them.

And draw more! At least 2 entire pages a day.

The advantage of being a beginner is having a much greater amount of teachers.

I do like your work, its a very good start but i must agree with Emm on both fronts, draw more and try not to pet, everyone begins doing it but by having nice clean lines it shows confidence in your abilites

I used to have a deep and meaningfull quote here but that got a lil tiresome

very nice stuff. Keep at it. Try doing a sketch focusing on design, composition and style. At the same time, work on anatomy, light and the things you find hardest.

Keep your mind open. Nice work!!

sup tie, this is good stuff which you have already heard and i am sure you are aware of. man when i was 15 i was in fights and being shady graff'n shite... hehe no real focus... but now hah

    ________
ok so i feel i should crit you since you are putting time and effort in.

    1. - ok it seems to me the first thing i notice is your perspective is off, that is why it seems you are having trouble with rotating the skull. if you want i can do some quick demos and post them for you. since you want to do concept workl you should start now with perspective so you can be killer and take my job.

    2. - it seems that you copy what you see and not really think about what is doing in space ene somehting like quick sketching a dood out in the park you should understand its relationship with its enviroment and so on. don't become a slave to what is in front of you.

    3. - you line work is kind of messy, and i know this b/c i did and still do when i am trying to figure things out as i draw.

    4. - you friend in the chair is a good series of studies and has alot of good things going on but all i really see is flat shapes with some lines for folds and hair. it is good work and i like it graphically but there is really any depth, besides th one where he is standing and you placed value in.

good work tho! these are things i noticed and i know this is just sketchbook thread, but i think everyone can always use crits, i know i always appreciate it when every possible. well good luck and let me know if you want any quick demos on the stuff i talked about or anything else. adios

First off, your best friend is my doppleganger because he looks just like me =P
I love your hands gestures. Your line work is really great, and you have a great eye for masses and shape reading. Just keep at it man, I see huge improvement in your update =D

    hey Tie,

for 15 yrs old you are definitely ahead, but don't let this get to you, keep drawing. focus a lot on foundation studies, these will pay off in few years down the track. Keep it going!

    cheers,

    Min
