Your characters (portraits) are not too strong, they feel forced and not "comfortable" in their setting. But wow, you're enviroments are very good. I'm bookmarking you.

bhanu: thanks a lot! Yeah, I don't like too much detail either.
Blue: hehe, thank you very much! Heheh, guess you are the first one to bookmark me...
    miguelslo: thank you!!
AztcFireFlower: thanks! Glad you like my stuff...

Well, I feel pretty bad for being so lazy. Damn, I really wanna draw and paint more!!
This one here took me quite a long time. It's by far my biggest painting I've ever done... But I wanna sketch more from now on and produce hopefully more output... Hope you like it.

Foreground's still kinda empty on Pleasure hotel one. (How about some Pleasure action )(it's there but people resamble stickfigures a bit)
Your scinntones have improved a lot though. They used to be kinda earthen, almost muddy.
Wonderfull stuff. Deffinatelly worth 5 stars.
    So long...

Thank you all for the lovely words!!

Ryan DeMita: Thank you! Glad to be of inspiration

blacky: Thanks a lot! Yeah, it's true. I find it really difficult to paint the foreground, maybe just because I always do "background pics". But I really want to improve this.

    mentler:
Thank you very much!! You know that I love your stuff.

Dile: Oh, thanks! I feel honoured.

Okay, this should be some kind of fashion drawing:

I really like your environments. totally inspirational. i like your use of atmospheric perspective. Especially in this one http://img231.imageshack.us/img231/7...ingmoonyt2.jpg the mountains in the right side of the piece, partly illuminated by sun shining through the clouds is badass. keep it up.

Great now i have to clean all of the drool off of my keyboard Wonderful stuff, i just went "wow" at every one of those enviros. I know you said you didn't like life drawing because you can't get it to look perfect. I say, take your rough, loose, atmospheric style to some live models and learn from them your way! Keep up the awesome work.

    Spats: hey, thanks a lot!!

ArtZealot: thank you very much, bro!

Fishpawn: Hehe, well I can try it though I already know that I won't paint long on it. I just don't have the nerves to draw from a photo...

Well, this is my first try in returning to a more spontanous and loose style:

The environments are great! The people seem a little stiff to me, maybe the neck on the one with the pointy teeth is making it feel too rigid. The environments, and the creatures are really cool tho!
Why do I have the feeling you're not just doing that to be cute?

ArtZealot: Thank you so much!! It's always a new motivation to read such nice comments.

TheGhostofGilgamesh: Hope I've written your name correctly Yeah, I still need a lot of practice for the characters. Think I've read WAY too much about anatomy and did WAY to less studies I'm gonna draw the whole Loomis and Hogarth book now...Hope this helps. Thanks man!

Oh by the way, I've got a new digi cam so I'm finally able to post some pencil sketches (hopefully regularly).

Well, after attempting a paintover on your EOW piece I noticed you had a sketchbook... and wow!
I really love your environments! I really don't think you needed my help now that I've seen these, especially given that last forested one.
I'm going to try to keep an eye on this sketchbook, you use all of my favorite colors and I love a loose, but complete, style.
