me and my sketchbook
Darn I wanna do that, I cant do environments at all.
Really like the one with the pink sky and the robots with red eyes. Good stuff, gonna make any of em a full blown finished piece?
Your environments are so beautiful, great mood and wonderful color choices. I also like the roughness of them a lot. I would like to see another process of how you go about doing them too! Keep posting more!
smat-math: Thxi
fooxoo: Thank you very much!
runtosaurus: Hmm, I always forget to save some steps when I'm painting... Maybe in the next one...Thanks a lot!
A fashion design and two characters
PS: Does anybody know a fashion design board with sketches and stuff? Thanks .![]()
Not a typical springlike dress but you can wear it in autumn, right?
![]()
the environments are a lot more stronger than the character portraits. but damn, they're all sweet! i wish i could take a digital painting class from you.
gizmo your work is great - i really like the atmosphere and mood in your darker pieces. nice work!
hey dude, ur pics are really great i like it.
What/ how do u do them ?
like the steps it would be very intresting to see a step by step picture going in progress so that we can see how u do iti dream of being able to draw / paint inviros.
She-oot! That is some fine painting and no, that "rough" one isn't too rough at all. it is well communicated and any more polish would have just been wasted.

cool stuff! nice env quickys! Give us more!![]()
I really love your enviroment work - the atmosphere and color selections are really inspiring!
I saw you were looking for a good fashion design website...unfortunately I have yet to find one myself, however I have occassionaly come accross some good rendering examples by doing a web search for fashion design portfolios.... Also something that i noticed in your fashion design pieces is that you seem to spend more time rendering the poeple than the apparel, it might work better for you if you make the apparel the hero - just a thought!
Also in the valcano/city painting your scale indicators seem to conflict with each other... the roads seem a bit too big, making the buildings seem disproportionate...
Seriusly though all of your paintings are far superior to my skillz - so please keep up the posting, I love seeing your work!
my humble SB - http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=62448
wow! I like your settings!! keep it up!!
rolo
DavidSmit: Thanks, mate!
rob-ot: Thank you very much! I made a little google inquest for fashion portfolios. Thanks for the hint, there've been some nice pics... As to the proportions in the volcano pic you're right. It's nothing new to me
Rolo: Thank you
I made this one for the new d'artiste concept art book. Wish me luck that they'll take it
By the way, I ordered a new WACOM Intuos3 A4. Hope it'll arrive tomorrow

Quickie sketch with my new Intuos3 A4. The feeling of painting on this board is incredible, I have much more control over the strokes compared to my old A6 tablet
Inspired by the beautiful architecture of Paris, my new favourite city! Ahh, I want to be there right now

I want to start something new in this thread. So far, I've only posted digital stuff and now I'd like to share my "real" sketchbook with you. Would be very cool if some of you could comment/post critique. Means a lot to me. I WANT TO GET BETTER...![]()

By the way, it's all from mind in this sketchbook if not specifically stated.
Inspired by HardcorePixxX. I love his art!!!
