Hi,
Some killer environment stuff in here. I see some Craig Mullins influences in your work. Am i right? ( especially the last environment of your first post reminds me of one of his works ).
Keep it up, show us some characters now!![]()

masterpug: Thanks alot! I agree with the mouth. I knew that something was wrong with it but I didn't know what. BTW it's a boy
vigostar: Wow! Thank you for the detailed feedback! Your suggestions are interesting and I think the backlight (and the other things you mentioned) would really help the story! Though, I lost a bit the interest in this pic and I don't want to invest more time in it
Bojee: Thanks!
Fellah.: Hehe, that's funny. thank you, mate!![]()
Odds: Thank you, bro! Nice to see a Sijuner here.
Art_Addict: Thanks a lot! And yeah, you're right. Mullins was the artist who inspired me to buy a tablet and start painting
Here's a first attempt to matte painting. Drawing all these little houses was a torture but I must say that my PS workflow has become much faster, now.
Hope you like it!
By the way, below the image are some steps for those of you who are interested in the process.
Step 1
Step 2
Step 3
Wow, very great stuff! The lightening is just awesome!
The first one is one of my favourites.
Chracter worx would be great!
Keep it up!
You've just become my favorite artist on this site. Fantastic atmosphere.
Lightings perfect. Not too detailed which is the way i like it. Something
has got to be left for the viewer to imagine. Five star material.
GunTrouver: Thank you very much! I appreciate it.
Placeboast: Heh, favourite artist? You must be kidding. Thanks, man...

wow i like the last one. you have great atmosphere in all your pieces. keep on rocking!
heeeeeeeaaaaaaahh :grasping for breath:
oh my. the atmosphere of your works are amazing.
especially (and i mean especially, because all your work
is amazing) number 12 with the dinosaur has an incredible
feeling to it. the warm orange-blue light combination works
really well. reminds me in a way of some dali paintings..
but the painting with the girl (number 13) is actually
one of the best compositions i've seen in some time. the
colours work perfectly together and the overglowing lips
give a very interesting side to the piece.
strange that i like two following numbers the most. have
you done them on the same day or something?
(i wish this doesn't count as gravediggin, but i just had
to reply to this thread)
oh, didn't see you got a thread over here
keep it up, you know that I love the work..![]()
Always enjoy browsing through here.
Keep them coming!
<gizmodus> powerful sketches <> mirandopolis6up.jpg is my favorite . . it has a lot of energy. Very cool stuff
giz-modus! giz-modus!
dont make me be a groupie...stop painting! XD
Sawa: Thanks a lot!
rewind: Coool, thank you for the long feedback! By the way, the two pics you mentioned aren't from the same day. But I did them one after the other.
dorian: Thanks dude! Nice to see you here... 8)
buzzz3d: Thankee, buzzz. Your comments are always greatly appreciated...
prodigy: Pheewww, are you teh Alp Altiner? Thank you very much! I'm glad you like my work.![]()

Amazing Work ^_^
I think the diagonals in your work sometimes are conflicting and distracting. Especially in the second picture from the top. There the eye does not get proper guidance through the picture. While in your last two pictures your diagonals are maybe a bit too simple ( although the effect is good so who am I to complain ). Great work overall though.

That fat kid: thank you, my friend
TheCleaner: thanks a lot! Are you an architect? I'm thinking of studying architecture next year...
Waruwari: thank you very much!
Cybetrotter: Yeah, the compositions could be much better in many of my paintings. Thanks for the feedback! It's really appreciated...
Sorry for the long delay in my postings but I have not much time at the moment. I have to do military service for the next 20 weeks

A redesign of my "weregnolf"

pretty cool.. i think you can get some more color variation in the shadows..Dodowa is great for that kind of thing
love your stuff gizmo, i can't get enough. it's awesome to see another fellow sijun member over here @ CA. keep up the good work-
Great sense of color, depth and style. You have a knack for digital that I have yet to grasp. I'll definatly be checking back with this one.
Do you have any traditional media sketches that you can put in?
Excellent environments, dinosaur and volcano city are really cool. Heads need some work though. I don't get "Weregnolf", it's just a chick with red eyes. Gary Faigin's "Facial Expression" is a really good book.
I really enjoy your use of color in all of your landscapes. They all have a really nice mood. I enjoy your use of green in a lot of your pictures.
I'd like to see you try your hand at characters a bit more.
My favorite so far is that second to last one the two men walking throught the forest.
Even though I'm more of a character lovin guy, your landscape work rocks !!
I really like the first image you posted, very simple, yet very strong.
My favourite however is totally this one.
blackforest6rn.jpg
Keep updating man !!!!
cheers

not fair..btw very inspiring stuff !i like the simplicity of your shape and their effectiveness .
...pheww, it's been a very long time!
Main Loop: Yep, you're right. Thx!
Odds: Hey, nice to see you here! Thanks a lot, bro.
morbidhumor: Thankee! Yay, my whole desk is full of pencil sketches but I don't know if they're really worth showing (I hate scanning).
armando: Thank you very much! I'm gonna look for this book, when I've finished military...
Smith Wesen: ThxI try hard to get better at characters.
Hypronost: Thanks, man. I appreciate it.
Shylone_Breath: Thank you!

are you like, the bastard child of Craig Mullins?
The way you work with light and atmosphere is just absolutely riduculously nice. You pallete is fantastic. Got any pointers? I'd love to see a process of some of thsoe interior environments.
I do notice however that your aptitude with depicting the human form is, IMO, not up to par with your depiction of space and atmosphere. This may just be because you don't have a lot of that work posted here.
I'll be checking on on this one whenever I can. Can't believe I didn't catch this one sooner.
