Actually the book I have says they are egg tempera...Unfortunatly that picture of the Apotheosis is really dark, there's a whole 'nother batch of figures under the large figure's right arm backlit by a peach colored glow...and an image of jesus behind the large figure All of the other paintings of the Epic are impressive as well, but I've had some trouble finding good pics of them....I may scan some from this big Mucha book I have, just to share.Magic Man :Jesus Christ - what medium is that? Magicman, Dinotopia is so cool, I devoured that book as a kid, still have it close by whenever I feel down and wanna look at Dino's, I love that book.
