Thread: redfive is drawing in circles

The facial expression on the horse is wonderful. I admire your ability to stylize and still keep such a solid, believable structure to your characters.
Anyway, you have excellent figure work and good environments, I would be curious to see more works with the figures interacting with said environments.

Ok first of I like the look of the pen on the color paper. Keeping working on that exercise form the first sketch in the last batch. I find it to be very difficult to represent the same figure in the same pose from two different view points when drawing off the top of my head. the back studies look sharp on the last one.
Keep it up
As far as paying out your ears for an education. You better squeeze the teachers for all of the knowledge that they can pass on. don't just float through and waste money. Buckle down and get your moneys worth out of school.

Hello friends. School got crazy for the last month or so and I ended up running away into the woods for some R&R. Gonna try posting here again and see how long that lasts.
Here's some bits for now.

The first one is very expressive. the loose style helps it and some of the shorthand the you have developed for the figures are working but the hand holding the marker get too wide on the side of the pinky. The pinky itself is also oversized. also the jaw line on the inside of the failure guy is oversimplified. it needs some shape to it.
The second one you loose me at the chest of the factory robot.
The third has a nice feel to it. the design works well. you have simplified the actual character but the shape of the head is off.
The fourth one looks very similar to the first robot. Nice and simple very dynamic sketch but the leg that is forward makes it feel like it will have a hard time standing.
Keep posting man really missed your work.
