    We now have a favicon

if you haven't noticed, we stuck a little image in your address bar, the image was made by ElvisMcVegas.

I'm not sure about you, but it makes me want cookies.

Something about Windows XP turns all my favicons into the ubiquitous E on a piece of paper with the corner folded over after a day or so...

you create an image at 16x16 pixels(right?) and convert it into a ico file...not a standard file type, i had to download an image converting program(just look for one on download.com)

...and its the little icon you see in the front of the url of the page you are on, and also in front of your bookmarked pages..i think IE doesnt display them in bar...only in bookmarks?

I'd love it more if I could see it. It won't load for me in Firefox, Opera, and I even dug out IE to see if it worked. :/

Yeah, I was at eatpoo, and I liked that beer mugg on the adress bar and i realized CA didnt have one so I asked davi if i could make one, Also if you look at ours, the CA is more legible than eatpoos EP, I made sure of that. And on the cookies not, I just made a gradient as the background based on the primary colors of the forum. Peace Y'all!

try clearing your cache...sometimes things dont show up b/c of it. (internet properties, privacy(i think) )

It doesn't work for me, either, sadly.

Of course, for the first half of the thread, I thought we were talking about flavocons, and kept licking the screen. Needless to say, it didn't taste at all like cookies.

Technology: not yet as cool as I want it to be...

    didn't work

*Used Tools>options to clear history, cookies etc...

*Took 15 min to remember my password...

    *Still didn't work.

*Took ca out of my favorites, went in and manually deleted all the files that didn't get deleted when I do it through tools>options... I shake my fist at my computer...

*Then went back, made ca a fav again and bingo, it now shows up there... and it shows up only sometimes now in my address bar... seldom, but everyonce in a while its there tantalizing teasing me ...

I think what yall need to do is clear your cache and delete it from your favorites and re-add it, then it should work.
I dont know why its only doing that to certain people...

My CA.org bookmark gave itself the rpgamer favicon... CA is the first site I visit on the daily routine which had no favicon, and rpgamer is my home page, so I guess that's why (firefox)

Oh, and CA isn't my homepage b/c first thing I do is check the DSG from a nonregistered computer, and that way threads stay nice and unread

Although this dosen't work all the time with FF

By the way, The GIMP will do it. I don't know about Photoshop, but I'd guess it would too.
