Dont be so hard on yourself. I like your painting where you're trying to depict emotions, the title was "anger" good stuff

it's a dead tie right now. ARGGh!

I love Arwar's. I love how he masterfully depicted the cloth with such realism and a careful eye. And with oils! woowee!

Jesus to both of you....this is a hard choice.....But i gotta give it to Arwar that cloth is just so smooth and just bueatifuly done, but i also have to give it to Denart casue Watercolor is just a medium that is quite challenging in it self.

    this is a hard decision.....

im still in high school my self and god i hope i can even get this good....

    Thanks for the votes guys!

    Retep,
I took a crappy photo as reference

Arwar took a photo for ref as well.

We both took the shots ourselves, using the timer.
Arwar had to stack books to get his angle right. Hardcore

One thing I learned throughout my years is to not follow the photo ref slavisly. You have to change parts, move the lighting, and etc for artistic aesthetics.

I voted Denart. Mostly for better composition.

I'd just like to say how incredibly envious I am of your talent, fellows. When I was 17, I drew dog turd. I couldn't even hold a brush properly.
    Cherish the talent you have.

I apologize...but I am not going to vote. I'm actually getting stressed trying to choose which one I like more, and fuck if I need more stress.

    - Beautiful job on both...if one piece haunts me in my dreams/nightmares it'll get my vote, but for now I give up.

    Cheers to ya fellas...
