T-DOME: Last Man Standing Round One (Matches 61-72)

Here it is, you talented bastards. The time for you to see all your hard work matched up against your random opponents for the first time. Only one person from each match makes it to round two. To everyone who participated, thanks for helping make this dome a memorable one. To everyone who missed the boat this time around , you're still in for a hell of a ride.

Entries are listed in the order the match is listed (ie. Dude1 vs Dude2: Dude1 will be first image listed, Dude2 the second. Amazing!)

fcking shit!!!!!! you guys!! Im really in a fcking orgasm of joy!
Im really happy to see all this great interpretations of deamons, who would
have thought that there could be so many diferent way to describe the topic
at hand, can wait to know the results of the judging, in the mean time,
I wish ya all the best of luck and may the best man-woman or deamon wins

my faves on this page are:

coondoggle: man that easily the funniest image of all the contest,
I just love the expression of wtf of the deamon king-father he he
    really priceless.

dirty_c: great sence of ambiental light, and I like the way you
incorporated the parchment on the fetus,!!! it made my stomach
tuirl in a very disgusting but good way, great work!!

Cartoonfox that thing is sweet, what happened to it? It's legs are all dun broked up. Poor creature. Did it chew them off its own self?

I'm in an art overload right now...still trying to take em all in. Great stuff all over!

More really close work. The closest here for me is Stokes and DirtyC. Omoplata (she looks too nice to be evil , are her feet in a bowl of blood?) and Coondoggle are brill! Sundance - excellent to go up against you man, and it doesn't look at all like what you said it did

Shinryu, you really pushed yourself with composition. I like the flow of the hair, the spine, to drapery that flows to the hand, thunder, and back to his face. I also like the expression on his face, he has character.

This was a fun battle. Inspiring to see what everyone came up with.

Wow, I have to say, CJA's really is amazing.

And yeah, I always knew me and stokes would be pretty level - great though, pushed me to work hard! Cheers man, and wow, would still be gutted if I lost, but at least it would be to a worthy competitor.

Posh: Fuck! I'm off to study some cloth...

Omopolata: Really hope this one gets some serious attention - I sometimes think the comicy-cartoonier pieces get a little underappreciated.

Thanks everyone for the kind words, and good luck!

Poshspice - Such a clean and interesting piece.
Stokes VS dirty C - Both crazy, colorful pieces. Gonna be a hard decision.
Chris J. Anderson! - The composition, colors, lighting, and design are superb!! Sweet!!
