    Joebo's psychotic sculpture work

Hey hey everyone I'm quite new to these boards and I figured I'd post up some sculpture I've been working on as of late, the most recent being this little guy (as viewed on my website

    Joebo's psychotic sculpture work

I'm still relatively a rookie at sculpture, but I hope to someday make a living at it be it working at a hollywood studio or sculpting minibusts/action figures. Anyway, enjoy and thanks for viewing

I would recommend any kind of oil based clay like plasticene or if you want to bake your sculptures in a conventional oven, I always use super sculpey. You can put wire inside of it, bake it a 455 farenhiet and you should be fine. Just make sure that you let it cool inside the oven because rapid temperature change can cause major cracks. That joker bust broke into three pieces when I first took it out.

    Excellent sculptures!

This has got to be a typo.

Box says 275 degrees F for each 1/4" and most people bake at lower temps for longer time...455 and the SS will catch fire.

Hey hey everyone, just wanted to post a teaser of my recent machinations:

    Joebo's psychotic sculpture work

    The Joker bust is finished!

Sorry for the shitty photo squality. I've decided that this piece will be purely for my portfolio and not for sale, partly because there are no convenient places around here where I can get it casted, but mostly because I don't want to jeopardize the possibility of someday working for DC Direct sculpting these little motherf*ckers. But anyway, sorry again for the crappy photo quality. I'm taking some good pics soon and then you'll see the whole thing. Until then, enjoy the maniac
