    hey there dude,

    nice update
on that last head the pieaxce of sking comming from the nosebrisge to cheech is defined in wrong ways.. it looks more like tape to me.. still looks cool but i dont think that's what you wanted i think its the harsh shading on top of his nosewings that does this also his forehead is flat! .. CubeFace woot!

also i think the nose could use a harsher edge on the shadow side.. now it looks 'connected' and kills the shape of the head
on thing you might want to start doing more.. is that your hardcore in design
and all the quickies.. the painter ones pretty much look sweet and awesome because of this i'd like to see more shape in these.. as in space.. as in 3dimensional if you know whatta i meana. now its basicly sweet ass compositions.. i want to them brought to life.. like you stared to do with the pencils.

    as always.. love the style

    cheers,
    wi2

Lovely thread, mate. I really love your pencil work!! How long do you spend on these on average?? Do you have an idea of what you're doing when you're starting out or just kind of going with it? It's always interesting to here the tought process we each go through because it can be so different for each of us. Keep it up!! Very inspiring work, mate. Those speed paints are clean and beautiful as well. Thanks for posting!!

-->thirdeye: I use pretty much every grade, but specially the B's. Depends on the surface.

-->camilografix, cotron, loomer, Shinryu: Thx a lot!

-->Fellah.: Sure u did draw something cool, like "every day".

-->wi_2: I agree in that what you said about the older man and i keep that in mind next time. I don't push myself on the painting side and i let it pretty much grow. Yeah i think i know whatta u meana . Thx mate, i would like to see more of this posts in CA.

-->ZebzFree: Indeed, it's always interesting to know how other artists work. I should have a look on the watch to answer your first question, but i never do because i don't care so much about things around me, while i'm in some sort of flow. Depends on the size and the feeling of the sketch, but usually it is quiet fast. Essentially I start really free, loose and without any pressure to make something cool or just good looking. Sometimes i just try to see shapes in my first messy lines. I block out interesting parts and start with rendering those. It is much different if somebody is telling you what to do, so it's like you are in a "cage" already with not much space. But if you can handle that easily as well, than you are on track.

-->timpaatkins: Thx, always brain except the older man face, thats from a crappy goggled pic. Drawing form Ref is good to get more knowledge about details you can use somewhere else later.

lovely stuff. I'm not sure if this has been said before but your rendering reminds me of Marko's
