Wasp A Real Life Insect Battle!

While you won't see any mutant scorpions here, this is a really sweet movie of giant hornets killing off an entire hive of bees. I love nature shows!

Try to see past the over-dramatic narration and metal background music... there's some fierce stuff goin' on here. ^_^

That was...wow. I didn't think they were intelligent to know to bite heads off...literally. O_O

LOL ! Yeah. Add the soundtrack of Battlefield2 and there you have it.
Return of the Valkyrie at the start too.
Still, those hornets would send me running pretty fast.

That was neat in its day, but the bees have developed an even cooler response: those hornets find beehives via a scout, now the bees allow the hornet in, get it deep, swarm over it and vibrate their wings causing a heat reaction that kills off the scout and saves the hive. I saw both instances, action and reaction on the National Geographic channel.

thats freaking sweet, minus the part where Im deathly afraid of bees. Honestly if something that big came flying at me, I would probably die before it even saw me.

Yeah, I've seen that before. That's like genocide on a micro scale. Makes you think huh? There's a bug in the Amazon that lives in the water and catches small fish. It then sticks a tube in them and sucks out all the liquids, leaving behind a dessicated fish corpse.

well,i almost can't see shit (stupid media player) ,but you sure won't catch me watching that "battle" up close. i hate wasps already how am i supposed to survive the sight of a hornet? oh,and i'm supposedly allergic to them aswell so it wouldn't be too good if one stung me.

    Damn! That was brutal!

You know there's one young honeybee that survived, and he's going to spend his life training, learning the ways of the Africanized Killer Bee, all in preparation for the day he exacts his bloody revenge on the hornets that killed his family. They're going to pay. Every last one of them.

    Hornets Bee-ware!
