One of the pics I'm gonna add a lot more to as it will be a print at the Baltimore Con. B)
Having him sitting at the bottom of the pool makes it much less dynamic. Spidey is all about unusual poses and positions and having him look for his contact lens isn't doing it. And while I can appreciate what you're trying to do with the funky anatomy, that isn't cutting it, either. You may want to study Cheeks-74's stuff some more. Not to bust on you, but the elements aren't jibing.
bottom of the pool?
I don't think so, I see him scaling a wall, the camera looking downwards.
now for this type of shot, I would add cars behind him and such and other details to make the camera angle more apparent.. or you can try some other idea..
also fix the eyes, currently they look like a bandit mask.
Actually, since this is a w.i.p., the curve line is there to remind myself of the direction I want the webbing he'll be pulling off going.
And although I prefer to be me, and not my friend cheeks, I don't think I'll look towards his artwork for reference, more like for enjoyment. Especially since you seem to be the only one my funky anatomy isn't "jibing' with.
But that's cool, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Kon, thanx for the suggestions, I'll keep them in mind.
