    finding basic hand shapes

this is what i came up with. the clearest basic shape form is in the lower right corner. what does everyone else here use for sketching the basic shapes?

(oh, and sorry about the reasonably small size. i'm used to posting in forums with 100k restrictions.)

Nice hand studies there. Im no professional myself but in some of the hands
the second thumb bone seems to bee a tad too short, otherwise I like these.

There's a book by Burne Hogarth called Dynamic Hands and Feet ...I think anyways it might be at your library. Also a lot of comic book stores carry Hogarth's books. He was big on being able to draw from your imagination using basic shapes like you're trying to do.
