Red face Misty Nights so I thought LOL

I finished my first canvas painting and later realized it was an impression of a famous artist's painting. Oh well I painted it myself, it is good, and I am proud of it, and because there is no copyright on the cavas outline, I can call it my own and sell it. So Misty Nights is available for view at

I am Leighott and I do my own paintings

I just did not know the outline I used was that of a Famous Artist Vincent Van Gogh

I feel very proud that I can even come close to his work, but he did oil paintings.

    You're such a prick.
Hope you get hit by a bus.

    Thanks

Dude, why are you selling your artwork? Especially your first painting. Keep it, don't sell it.

"Art is a Beauty of Self-Expression

Express yourself with a Leighott Painting"

lol, anyone see the irony here? You're never going to be an excellent artist. You lack the passion, because you're greedy.

The tragedy this represents is beyond words.

How could you "not realize" it was Van Gogh??!

    this is sad

WTF??? you shit stupid asshole. that isn't the same "outline" as van gogh's painting. you even used a similar palette! ARGH.

dude, paint your own stuff. even if it sucks, at least you know it is your's and not a carbon copy.

and what the hell is someone doing bidding $28 on ebay for your copy?

...it was your mom, wasn't it?

Yeah someone was paying for that. It makes me sad but it also makes me want to trace Da vinci paintings and sell it on EBay and make some quick cash.

    Money is money is money.

I won't do that even I have a level of integrity I won't comprimise, but man, I could use 20 bucks liek, all the time.

This looks suspiciously like a Van Gogh painting.

You're copying other artist work and trying to make money off of it? It's like copying someone's book and trying to sell it as your own you plagarizing shit ass.

Keep goin man! Its hard to live from art. It ok to do copies and sell them. First, can learn something, second, get money from it.
Well its hard to beleve that you made your own piece same as Gog's one.

I was going to side along this poor guy and say all you guys were being too hard on him, and nothing's wrong with making money off art...until i saw this "That is the closest you will get since the original was done in 1888 and is in a Museum"

Power to you Mr. Swindler. Some chump is going to pay you 28+ bucks for a POS like that, and you'll probably be able to make just as much in the future with equally unimaginative and unskilled works. You may be everything that's already been said, but you're also going to be a few bucks richer. Not bad.

this is so miserably pathetic it makes me giggle. I couldn't believe that Van Gogh would paint something so lousy until I found the real painting online and realized how poor your copy was.

Danilo you shit head, don't encourge this kind of bullshit. Maybe I should start copying your work and I'll try to sell it. Don't worry, I'll sign it copy of Danilo, so everything's cool then.

I think you made a few mistakes when deciding to post on this forum.

You need to make sure the forum meets your standards! So I made a list up for you to help out, you are obviously too busy making sure you don't paint outside the lines to do this.

    • Make sure there are no artists on the forum in which you post. Artists just get jealous of your leet copying skills.
    • Integrity. If you see it, run. You can't have integrity getting in the way of your art profits.
    • Might as well throw in morals there too.
    • IQ and common sense. These 2 little buggers just get in the way, make sure that they are very low on the forum you would like to post on. (Its always a safe bet to post on a forum of individuals similar to you anyway)
    • Make sure Marko isn't a registered user of the forum. He's going to tell it like it is, no tact needed or wanted. You'll have an easier time if he isn't around pointing out what a prick you are.

I'll generally stay away from stuff like this, but I'm feeling a bit pissy and you just happend to be a very large target. thanks a lot.

Seriously spamming your crap here shows a very large gap in your common sense file.
