Hey, There's some pretty good stuff in here. Especially nearing the end. I'm not sure what you want... the robot at the bottom is nicely done. Any more male drawings? You said you needed help in those areas.

good clean inks, you definently put a lot of thought into each figure that you make. Do some anatomy and face studies and you're art will benefit. I'll make sure to check back.

    Oi

Hey hey you have some interesting stuff. The last girl's right arm looks too short, because of the angle of the shoulder and where the middle of the arm comes just under her breast. The way she holds her sword it seems as though it should be at an angle and not quite as strait on as it is. The cloth hanging down from her pelvis is at a good angle but the frilly cloth appears flat. The gun in her left hand is not bad but check out the reference section under Photography in the forums there is a nice selection of gun references (ill say this to everyone, guns have anatomy too ) The chick with the staff is rather nice no critical eye at first or second glance. Enjoy your stay at concept art.

Great update, 'specially the last two.

Good job on weight and balance. The lovely sway of the hips really makes them seem grounded, believable.

and the third to last page reminds me of davi. i dont know why

Thanks, groove. Yeah, I'm having fun with swingin' hips these days. Finally starting to have fun with hips & legs and lower body.

Gonna throw my other stuff from some other thread I did in here too, just so it's all in one space. These are sorta recent, but not as recent. Or maybe they are. I dunno. Some of ya may have seen them, too.

    Update 6-11-06

Skully done today with pencils in 2 or 3 hours maybe. It's on weird paper I got from my dad. Circa brand, 12.75" x 19", 80 lbs. See the close up for the extreme texture I was fighting. Blah.

    It sucks.

i've seen some of your finished stuff and it looks really good. But most of these sketches look kinda old, so we need hyper new ones to crit you properly.Anyway, the female anatomy looks great, but you need to try n draw some real animal muscle groups n bones to get the fantasy creatures look "right".And about the male aatomy...well, use ref and anatomy books, most of them mostly concentrate on male anatomy
Maybe some sketches could use a bit less "hairy lines" if you know what i mean.Aw god i feel "evil" to crit you, so i'll go drawing instead

    ciao

Hahahha, "Art Vandelay!" "Vandelay Industries!! Say Vandelay Industries!"

OK, sorry, I'm a Seinfeld fan. Anyhow, I thought about not fighting the texture, but I t was difficult because it was sooooo wide. Each stripe in the paper is like half a millimeter.

Anyhow, TheGnoll, don't feel "evil" critting me. I need it! Yeah, I'm very bad with muscles especially on males and creatures, so I'm working on it, I swear!

I'll try to update with some newer sketches.

Someone said I needed to do more life cast drawings so I'm gonna find all kinds of interesting stuff around my house to draw since I don't have any casts yet.

    Thanks again for the advice.
