    The Progressive Artistic Mind.

has anyone ever read anything about the progression of an artistic mind? for instance, how a three year old perceives (and thus illustrates) the world and all things therein, and later how their perceptions change in how they view and draw with age. they may draw a person with a really large head early in life as it is the main thing they see, but when they move into their latter years they give increasingly more attention to drawing an actual body for that head, a father may be drawn as a giant in comparisson to the child as they are always looking up at them, etc, etc.

ring any bells? please, if anyone can recommend books or online sites thatd be great

Since you feel the need to bump this, you wanna tell us what homework assignment it's for?
Have you tried a web serch while you wait? Possibly using keywords, like "artistic development in children," or "spacial awareness and proportion?"
There are a LOT of good links out there...all you have to do is look.
