    programs copyright stuff

    Heeeello
Ok, I need some information on copyright stuff.
Here's the deal, me and my friend are doing a comic together, he's writing the story and once he's done I'll start drawing it. I was just thinking how I could possibly use some good software that's good for setting up the comic for print, painting and all that stuff without having to pay 400 bucks for photoshop or something like that.
Can I use trials? Am I allowed to use trials for possibly benefitting projects?
I could very well do the comic all traditional but setting it up for print is kinda hard non tech right?
I'm very lost here, any information on this subject is greatly appreciated.
    sorry for typeo's I'm tired
    thanks in advance

Im sure you can use the trials as they are "free" of use. But, you only have 30 days

Trial software can mostly not be used for commercial projects.
Just read the licensing agreement for the trial software then you should know if you can legally use it for commercial work (it depends on the software).

Download and use the freeware GIMP. There are templates out there for comic page layouts, so you could even do it in Windows Paint, if you know what you're doing. If is is simple painted linework, without "fancy" filter effects, no one will ever know if you used a trial version of a commercial app, a freeware like GIMP, or even Windows Paint.

Yes, setting it up for print is more complicated, but only if you use color. Do a websearch for "publishing a comic," and read up on what you are planning to do. You'll find everything you need to keep in mind, as well as some decent tips on how to best accomplish it.

"Borrow" implies you will return it.
"STEALING" is a better term for taking something not yours without paying for it.

yeah...or why not burn it on cd/dvd? give it away to friends...or set up a (web) store where people can "borrow" photoshop for perhaps 20 bucks.

I can't stop you from downloading or uploading stuff...but I can stop you from talking about it here. Do not. Really.
