This is the book that piqued my interest about graphic novels, and the first real one I have read since the TMNT ones a decade ago. Blankets ROCKS! (And his book Carnet de Voyage is real good too)

I'm reading a bunch of Tim Sale for the first time. So far I've got Daredevil Yellow, Batman: The Long Halloween, and Batman: Dark Victory under my belt. They will in fact blow your freaking mind.

    favorite comic

my favorite comic is the Trencher by Keith Giffen. I can stare each panel down for way too long. I think he has the wildest art style I have ever seen.

The AKIRA books.... are so damn sweet. I dont read alot of graphi novels but im on to the 5th Akira one.. and they totally blew me away. the last one is in thye post now ...w00t.

The style is a little Anime.. but its the pretty good kind (no X's on dead peoples eyes) a fairly realisitc approach. Story and the art is amazing. Loads of cool design and stuff.... i can read em again and again.

I here the film is like the best manga film ever aswell.
