    overdue

Que paso concept art board members I have been taking art classes and have some work I did in there not class work but doodles and work outside while chatting with the other chums there are not many sadly oh well here goes.

    olde first

in yall are wondering why all the stuff in blue ink I ran out of black.

trying to use more value and depth since I got some great art supplies well not great they are good not good cheap I am a frugal bastard.

this piece is one I am working on right know.

I have been recently thinking of my future plans to attend art school or attend a liberal arts school I love the possibility of doing science along with art but the prospect of art school is pretty enticing still namely Risd, Rsad and New College of Florida.

nice update Bubstar, those first two really drew my attention.

"I keep having this image of a kind of aquatic human not ampibious but fully adapted."

I have been working the last 3 days on and off on something similar and I have to say you are doing MUCH better, those really look pretty cool. Be thankful all yours don't end up looking line a muppet The elongated thin face is nice and keeps it from looking too much froglike.

Are you planning on really working this guy out? I'd love to see him evolve and how you illustrate it.

    take care

    some recent stuff

I just did these today except for the color piece which is work in progress I have some charcoal work I would like to post but my scanner keeps busting a lazarus dead then out of now where it rises again. On a serious note to anyone kind enough to give me an opinion on if I stand a good chance of getting into a art school particularly Ringling or Rhode Island school of Design.
I do life drawings but I dont post any as said earlier the scanner and the pieces are quite large.

    reminds me aeon flux

gargoyle not even near complete got the bare stuff down.

guy with weird gun decided to draw a gun that was light yet exremely lethal unlike the burely 120 pound blocks of metal that come from the future.

This is a work in progress I posted a earlier version sometime back and this basically a design for a tattoo for my brother but quite a bit more to do before I even like it some what had to use ligh application of acrylic for the green
(by light I mean splotches I tried to thin out with water).

yeah, man! there is already goin on some improvement in here! You're doing the right thing just draw draw draw and work more on you faces, they still look kinda off sometimes. Studying the human skull will give you a great deal of understanding the shape of the face.
    Rock on, dude!

Tahnks Blade I have some other work in color, I agree though color is weak point of mine that is why some them are only partly colored.

Wow, I love these latest 2007 postings; the start of your sb is good, but I can definitely see how your work now is more refined. Nice hatching and shading, great faces as well. Some of your faces have a few proportion issues, though not all of them. I'd like to see more complete works to get a better idea of your style. Also, do you do anatomy or figure studies?

    Also, excited about Ringling?

Anyway, great work. Hope you keep posting! (I'm sure we'll all have tons to post next year....)

Another update courtesy of the internet

I hae another update, I delayed it since life slows me down occasonally or I am very lazy.. Well here is to another batch of updates.

kind of barbaria idea I had kind of based on Asgard and other things floating around.

    Rough self portrait

    power suit design

Minotaur and me done in Peanuts style

me wasting watercolors, its not bad but still.

just a page of my sketch book.

    just letting the pencil talk

sketches from a night at a restaurant which of course led to me drawing a zombie.

Sketch page really likd this one actually

based kind of on my younger brother

    sketches

Just was thinking of how I was as a child and how I am today.
I have about two pieces what I want to submit to the finally finished section sometime soon look for it yall and let me know what you honestly think, please.
