Get a haircut hippy!
"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed, The world in arms is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from an iron cross."
...I have a sketchbook?
no, don't you dare just had a haircut a few days ago, I had as much hair as you do in that sp, maybe a little tiny bit shorter but well it was alot and damn I miss it
well..it's gonna grow back
well onto the art.. there is none
I'm always so frigging tired after work that I don't do a lot of drawing, gahh...only 2 more days of work and then you'll see something

dang, we need to get more people to post their portraits
@J.Mac ha it would be more sick if it bled from your lip ring, yum
@Jens. hey I really like the portrait done in green (: Maybe you can try moving the mirror to be above you or below you to give yourself more of a challenge
Is there a way to post a sp from your computer without any programs like photoshop?
You just load your scans/photos/digital paintings onto this site, get the URL and above the area you post a message, there should be a box that you can click that allows you to post a picture, thats where you put the URL in.
Glad to see this thread's still alive.
Here's a fast one..
Holy crap Jens..how much sp's do do you have so far?
I like the 15th of july one, it has nice lines although very loose and the eyes are very alive. 13th is a bit flat...what's up with the spots on the forehead btw..did I miss something?

Cool expression...the mouth does look a bit strange...plus the right iris may be a bit big compared to the left one..looking in a different direction as well Maybe that was done on purpose..I understand it's a sketch anyway..good job.
Lady: you have progressed a lot. I haven't been here a while but I've seen your posts here and there..and you're really starting to grasp form and value..good work.
I hope it doesn't take months again before I post something
Looking back at it makes clear that I need to stop moving my head so much while drawing..ehehe..it's crooked..ahhh well..better luck next time.

200...geez..wish I had kept it up..it's definitely good practice. You've got some discipline man.
Ahh..it's like a mole..yeah, it made me wonder because I didn't see it in all the sp's. I think it's kinda cool actually..ehehe..especially because it's pretty much in the center as well..it's like you're the chosen one or something..ehehehe. Anyway..if it doesn't bother you..leave it alone..I don't see why it should anyway.
boring. just for practice.
man i missed doin these
and hey jens, nice to see ya again, these last ones are extra-awesome!
Here's a really quick sp. I tried to do it as quickly and loosely as I could stand, trying to get away from spending a lifetime on lines. Probably the fastest Ive allowed myself to work on one, 20 min.
Here's another, done fairly quickly as well, from a low angle. Didn't really "finish" it, I just kind of stopped once I was fairly happy with it.
bleh. nice work guys. my right eyebrow has twice the strength of a normal man.

Painting is fun, i wish i had more time to do it. I'll try this more often. Still doing the drawings daily, just took a breather after i was not accepted into art school (not really surprising).
Jens, looks good. Maybe take an eraser and really try to figure out the right placement of everything, spend some time erasing & redrawing. Always helps me.
Timothy & Nova, really like these.
Colors are off, i'm in for a beating in the Thunderdome
Jens, you are an SP animal! Tryin' to give Andrew a run for his money?
Here's a quicky I did tonight based on a photo I had laying around..cross post from my SB
