the arm in the left looks a little bit off the body - not attached by it fizicly.. because of the too smaller connection area...

    Looks pretty good so far.

I agree with the left arm issue. Something dosen't look right about it. Could be the placement of the elbow, but not too sure.

I can't make out what that thing is in the foreground. Also, is he standing on his toes? Perhaps you could give more suggestion of his butt cheeks, because right he has no butt.

    Everything else looks great.

    the LEFT ARM!

ha. everyone pointed out that one, eh? well. they're right. but you can fix it. check out Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Figure Drawing. he has a great method on drawing figures from imagination in odd contorting poses. it's all about foreshortening the body and keeping it in perspective really. good job though.

Everyone mentions the left elbow, right? I think the bone is shaded too dark. I don't believe it should jut out so much. Try just lightening that part up =S

so everyones talked about the left arm, but havent suggested exactly whats wrong with it. from my eye i think you could make it more believeable if you were to reduce the musclature of the upper arm and rotate the elbow to the left a little more, and show less of the left shoulder. after all, his torso is rotated a little, yet the arms are almost straight on. you may want to increase the musclature on his right arm as it is holding up his shield, and youd see some flex and bulge as a result. really nice linework, by the way!

like i have said before, i'm no anatomy expert, and obviously comic anatomy is exaggerated, but i think the left arm is simply too long. if he was standing straight with arms relaxed, his fingertips would be at his knees.

plus his body is tilted and the left arm is forward, so it looks even longer right now.

..and the shield could stand to be a bit bigger. very nice work, though.

Captain America is my fav. super hero! The psoe is kinda weird, and the left hand is doing siomething kinda funky. Everything else has been commented on, I can't wait for the improved version.

I also have a problem with the left hand. It's an unatural way to hold your hand, even if he is a hero. Maybe a fist would work better...

Also, I agree on the shield being a little too small. Also the curve on the shields edge is a little weird. It doesn't feel curved enough.
