summoner: What took you so long! I summoned you hours ago!
lava beast: Me sorry! Me come as quick as me can
summoner: Sorry's not going to be enough this time many people died because you didnt come in time
summoner: Aieee! my hand
Took about two hours on Paintshop Pro with a mouse.
Wow.... I knew this'd be a good topic, but I'm tremendously impressed with everyone's offerings so far.
Peacock: Yours has a great NES-style look to it.
Xenos: GREAT rendering on the beast itself, and nice contrast with the BG!
Matias: Welcome to CA! Very convincing anatomy on the summoner, and sweet lava effects arround the creature''s head.
Hazard: I love the design of the mosnter, and great use of values and contrast!
Slip: Nice colors! The monster's eye really stands out.
I can't wait to see what every else's contributions are!
Is is my imagination or is everything posted so far really really amazing?

meh, no time \ inspiration today, too busy worrying about my thunderdome entry.. which i really should be doing riiiight now
matias :: I love the texture and obvious motion going on in this. Something about the blend of reds and yellows in the BG attracts my attention, too.
xenos :: Your beast is so obviously made out of lava! The design for him (?) is fantastic.
JPeacock :: I'm liking the lava falls, they've got great texture. I totally second the NES motion. Hee!
Hamsta :: Very subtle...that red is so attractive. I'm such a sucker for sections of color. :'D
Eriboss :: I like the combination of brushes you used. It reminds me of that two-headed monster in Willow...Very fierce!
Everyone's pieces look -great-!
Dementist: Thanks for the comment. : )

Wow, amazing stuff today.
Matias, the beast is amazing in yours, I love its eyes.
Xenos, right on with the monsters colors and look.
Anyway, here is mine. I am getting a little bit better, and can finally color in the lines! I really like how my monsters eyes and throat turned out. And also the reflection on the little guy at the bottom right.
About 2 hours, Painter IX.
Never enough time to finish. got to come back to this one
whoa, apriori, yours is sick.
i love the colors
what did you use to make that?
Thanks Advocate - It's painter IX with the distortion brushes
Again, none of my stuff can compare to some of the great works here, but hopefully i'll grow to the same level as you guys:
I got 2, one I was going to just delete, but decided to show how my work has progressed:
This one just didn't turn out right, seemed to blurry to me, plus the "beast" isn't that much of a 'beast'...
This next one is still under construction, but I have to go to bed soon so here it is in it's unfinished glory. It was originally a sketch I had of a girl with her arms spread out wide. Well i never got around to finishing it until now (kinda), so I just worked on it for about 30 minutes and i'm pleased with the effect that I got with it so far.. here it is:
been a while since I posted. Been busy with work.
Again I spend more time on the environment and the subject becomes an afterthought.
weekend's here... slept ten hours... only got time for minute DSG with a pencil.
