    shyamshriram: aw...thanks

masterpug: To be fair...the colored version of the robo-monkey is not mine.
Main Loop did that...he just felf like coloring it. I really want to start doing some digi-color sketching. I just don't have a computer yet to do it. Very soon though, I hope. If you'd like to see some of my finished paintings just check out my website. www.jasonsnair.com

Undertow: Uhh...I don't think I've heard of him before. I'll look him up though.

Art_Addict: thanks man. right now i'm really working on my poses. Believe it or not though, drawing people just standing around is always a challange for me.

Here are just two simple sketches/doodles.

Some really nice poses and faces in here - maybe try inking/sharpening up some of them? Your style really reminds me of Alan Tew:

    Keep up the good work.

    Woohoo, page 2. finally!!!

oishiiniku: Thanks for the comments. I checked out that Alan Tew guy, i do see some resemlance in style. i like his stuff.

    Just a minor update today:
I'm just working on natural stances and clothing.

First one here is just a bunch of guys wearing hoodies and baggy pants. I posed in the mirror a few times wearing my own zip up hoodie to see how things worked, then quickly sketched.

This is just some ugly-trenchcoat wearing-Frankensteinish guy
I like how the face and coat are coming out, but I'm not digging the position of this legs. Also: His head is a little small compared to his body, but I like it...i think it makes him look even more brute-ish

Strong skills bro. I enjoyed browsing through this thread. You have a good style to you characters. It's hard to crit on sketches because of the very nature of a sketch. I can't wait to see full color developed work from you.

blankslatejoe: yeah..i agree about the poses. I fav is the once crouching down. thanks.

    And just one update today.

okay....it's been a looooonnnnnggg time since I've updated this thread. I finally got a computer and have just started playing around with painter. i'm in love with this program, it's just too much fun.

It snowed on friday here in boston and after getting out of work a little early, I got inspired.

I had some photos taken from my apartment buildings roof... left: afternoon. right: is at night
