Adorable illustration, nice colors, and funny expression on the guy's face lol. Looks like he was almost on the verge of a breakdown due to lack of caffiene, but then saw the stand and can go on with the trekking.. *g* but then again that's just me blabbing

Man, I know I've been there before. This is a really fun illustration, it seems like it be a piece that could go in the sunday comics. I really like the coffee machine. Only question I would have is why is he holding the cup that way?

Visions> regarding the way he is holding the cup...i was trying to force the impression of how small the cup is compared to his hands...like he couldn't get his fingers through the handle and he's scared of breaking the cup so he holds it delicately like so because the contents are SO PRECIOUS to him...maybe that didn't work out so well for me

Scientist> Thanks alot! you perfectly read what I was trying to depict

Why is he holding the coffee cup on top of his clenched fist? That just seemed akward to me, also why is his other fist just being held up in the air for no reason? The colors are nice, but Im assuming that hes supposed to be addicted to coffee so why not add some jitter marks around his hands and head to show his addiction?

    coffee

this makes me not want to go near coffee again, that creepy ultra hypo caffenated look itll haunt me, very nice but the way the coffee cup is just sitting on top of his hand is annoying me

here ya go, i fixed the hand...and you were all correct, it looks much better now that it's not sitting on top of his hand...i love photoshop i also fixed a few places the grass looked odd...but really, i think it's fixed now thanks for all the crits! also, i just wanted to say...i'm very proud of the clouds...they were painted in gouache then scanned in ( i tweaked the levels a tad to remove a hue that didn't look good in the final image, but the rendering is all original! )
