welcome to the skecthbooks! the best so far is the robo-pirate thingy...although the skin is lacking a bit of the rosiness associated w/ life...little dead looking, but maybe that's what you're going for...especially good job on the pants. as for your pencil sketches...work bigger and looser.

    keep up the good work!

    hmmm..

You have some interesting stuff here. Two bits of advice. One: draw from life more often. This will greatly improve your skills. I know you have it in you, those gesture drawings are excellent. Do more like those. Two: You have the same problem with anatomy that I do. I suggest that before you do too many non ref sketches, you work on it. Once you figure out whats gong on, you can move on to the non-life concepts. Great start, keep posting

Hey that fat kid, thanks for the help, I really do "pet" the line, I'm just so used to drawing that way, I really do want to gain confidence in my lines, hopefully it will come in time.
    -Thanks

I like your page o' faces. Don't see enough of those. Don't draw enough of those, come to think of it. Some of them are a little unbalanced, but they've all got character.

    Very nice work all around.

Hey, I like figure from #12 (red glow around it) and pic from your portfolio the most. They look, cartoonish but in a good way. Combining simplicity of facial linework, with very appealing overall expression.
only crit is that those pencilscetches leck some contrast (from my point of view)
I'd suggest to try out ink or black polychromos pencils.
Well, ... Blacky likes Black ya now....

blacky-Thanks for the crit i'll keep in mind to add contrast. The pic in my portfolio was for a project where we had to design characters for a cartoon show, i'm glad you like him, he was also the first character I ever modeled in 3D.

    Odds-Thank you!

That fat kid-Thanks for the feedback, I feel that I am understanding the forshortening more, i'll try not to be so light, thanks.
