    It's been kind of quiet here for a while. I'm going to post some wips in the next few days. Has anybody else got some wips to post yet?

    Looking good Apropos. You've got a kind of sci fi chinese monk thing going on there.

    Mr visions, I look forward to seeing you're work.

    And everyone else, where are you all. Are you still in this Loomer? Fin have you joined yet? And Vigostar are you able to join in on this one or are you still busy?

    OK... here we go.

    This is the basic line work for my WIP, not real sure what the background will be yet. Honestly, I'm not even sure about the overall composition. So, I guess we'll see what happens. I do know that something dynamic needs to happen with the legs. Right now they just seem to be stiff, like he's standing on his tippy-toes, and I don't want that.

    I suppose I'll throw some more effort into it, and see what happens! I'm looking forward to seeing everybody else's work...BTW Apropos- I really like the movement you've got going on. Very dynamic and visually interesting.

    Hi Loomer Nice to see you are still here.

    I like you're work so far sundance. Good anatomy and a good dynamic pose. I think it would look better if he was leaping though. I like the grid in the background, it reminds me of tron.

    Here's my thumbnail idea. I was trying to make the character look dwarfed by the environment. The walls are going to be covered with clocks and hourglasses etc, with one hugh main clock above the arch. Hope you like it.

    Infinitum - I love the scale... this looks very promising.

    *side note* keep that colab piece in the back of your minds... The monster size thunderdome ends for me on August 6th (I drew Poshspice ) So I'll have lots of free time starting August 7th.

    like loomer said... that idea is awesome... really elaborate on that.. get some ref. of some grandfather clocks and such.. maybe you can show some of the gear working in the background.... maybe on the floor you can make it look like a giant astronomical time thing.... I dunno... like how they used to keep time in the old days... just some ideas for you to play with.. good luck!
    Mainloop- man i must be dyslexic.. cuz i thought you asked how many people are on lsd

    I dunno even what to say about these wips, Infinitum your WiP has more mood and feeling then any ten of my pieces together. It just blows my mind.

    So how far along is everyone now? I'd post up another WiP but I'm nearly done. Just tweaking a few things here and there. This has been way too much fun and I've spent more on this picture then on any other three combined.

    I'm draggin' ass. Between the full time job, the Thunderdome, commisions, and some volunteer work I need to ask my "Timekeeper" to throw a few extra hours into my days! I haven't moved much from my last WIP, but it'll get there...

    I'm with Sundance. With the TDome Last Man Standing challenge, commisions, an internship, blah blah blah... I haven't gotten a chance to post a WIP, but I have my idea and some thumbnails so. I'll see you guys on the 22nd. Everybody's looking good.

    Thats an unusual approach Mr Visions. It should make an interesting painting.

    I've nearly finished mine just adding the last few bits. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone elses work on the 22nd.

    Icon Tiiiiiiiime, is on my side... or I'll keep telling myself that.

    A riddle: This thing all things devours:
    Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
    Gnaws iron, bites steel;
    Grinds hard stones to meal;
    Slays king, ruins town,
    And beats high mountain down.

    The Answer:Time.

    Thanks Infini, this is a great topic.

    Alittle inspiration for you guys in the coming days. It's the riddle from The Hobbit Movie, one of the coolest animations ever. Peace.
