    Great boys.
    Nice lill' Goat boy
I like the face of the goat, it is really well renderd. But what happened with the rest of the painting. Out of patience/time?
The light from the fires are strong at the horns, but at the edge of the creature it's plain, just a line. I think You could have done it stronger at some places. Looks boring when it's just one thin line

Truely a great Cartoonfox sktech. Love your style

One more thing, it would have been nice if you guys would have done it such a way so we could have understood why he is standing there and the city is in ruins and burning.

What would the world have been without collabs

yes i agree with most what pencilator said.
but im not so sure about the horns.
would be cooler if you actually painted a zippo in his hand tho.
    anyhow, great painting.

I agree the goat looks great in the final. Especially his face. I like the color and ruined city look in the bkgd. I think that the blue needs to somehow be carried throughout the piece. The goatboy seems a little too seperate. I like the quickness and simplicity in style. I'd say stick with that and just try to pull the forergound and background together a little more. Nice collab.

very cool goat sketch.. as for the overall compostion im not getting the sense that the goat is in the environment for some reason, maybe its the lighting or his pose imo. you could also push the atmospheric perspective even deeper. the values in the bg seem to compete with the foreground elements. hah im just rambling...

good to see the collabo. cheers!

I like this character, though I feel the final rendering suffers from a common problem, particularly among digital artists--everything is rendered kind of the same. It all looks like it's made from, I don't know, matte vinyl or something. I'm not getting any feeling that the fur is furry, or that the horns are stiff and calcified, if indeed goat horns are calcified, I have no idea, I live in the city, but you know what I mean. I could see some softer parts in the hair, and a different value range for each material. You're already doing this well with the nose and eye, by the way.

yea we do, fox *tips his hat*

and uhh, thanks for the comments crits and suggestions, specially rex very good point. I know the composition suffres as a whole and its far from polished and yea pencilator, i got very bored of it. Some people were telling me to integrate the goat guy more, while others were telling me to pop him out more. meh
oh and btw mort the title came later a zippo woulda been kinda cool though.
