    great stuff!!
about painting with straight colors well, just thinkof the surfaces as surfaces and not having the lines as a mean of describing the form... draw the inside hehe

tasty stuff though but where's the updates ??

Funny I have a tablet laptop and never quite used it.. much.. so I decided to jump at it. Painted from life on my balcony at various times today... not long probably around 1~1.5hrs each. last one is my crappy stock mobile phone..

Gorgeous paintings Min... the colors in the first two really capture me, especially the queen. A subtle palette combined with an extravagant design really lend themselves to royalty.

Which workshop are you talking about? insomania, or did I miss one?

The little character is engrossing, to say the least. I want to see him animated - is he FOR something or were you just drawing him? Hm.... it's like you've spawned an entire race of these dudes.

    geez.....

I just started doing some painting (you know, with actual paint) for the first time in school.... and god damn I suck at it.

Any beginners tips on using acrylics? (I have a bunch of colors from golden, some good brushes, and a sta-wet palette, so I'm just asking about technique, you seem like the guy who'd know.)

    _CRAZY_

    You're extremely versatile! o_O
Whoa, you actually do sketch in Photoshop, huh? Just slowly getting the hang outta it, as I always eperienced it to not be the No 1 digital sketching (not painting, mind you...) tool (always preferred Open Canvas), but your stuff totally proves otherwise!
    I'll get my a$$ moving...
