here are some pics from my new sketchbooks,just some characters that i thought were worthy of the forum.critiques and suggestions would be much appreciated.
well its obvious you are not going for a realistic approach.
i think the hand on #3 is pretty good (it looks like you spent a lot of time on it),
and #4 is good as well.
it has a decent sense of form.
the rest though, are lacking in those very departments.
even if you are going for a distorted, stylized figure, it still needs a sense of form.
i would look at the work of cheeks-74.
he is amazing at what he does, and i think you could learn a lot from his work.

thanks for the critisism.its true that i'm not going for a realistic approach and thanks for suggesting that guy,his work is amazing and will be a definate leap-off point for my next works.

The head on the bottom is cut off in the back to quickly (a common mistake).
Have you ever done gesture drawing? They are fun and really help with getting good proportions AND interesting poses. Not to say that yours are boring, of course.

thanks for the comments guys!i didn't realize how bad my old drawings were until i saw them next to the new ones.
otherside-thanks for pointing the problem with the head out.i have done gesture drawing in my life drawing classes at school but i just finnished yesterday and now i have to pay to take the classes,so hopefully theres some around here.
