Hi guys, don't know if this is the right place for this question, but I'm really interested in what everyone out there is using for monitors.

I have a 2 monitor set up, one is a Viewsonic VP 912b LCD, and an old no-name CRT. I'm thinking of upgrading the CRT as its kinda small and a bit dark but I'm still not 100% sold on the LCD. Its really clear and bright but it seems to bother my eyes after awhile. I dont want to turn down the brightness too much, as it affects my painting tones. Is this a common problem with LCD'S?

I've heard a lot of people saying lcd's arent good enough yet and alot of big 3d places seem to have crts in there workplaces but I know some good photoshop artists that use them so I'm still undecided. Also I've heard crt's arent made as much anymore?

Any thoughts or opinions would be much appreciated. If there is any conclusive evidence out there on whats got the edge, I'd love to hear that as well.
Thanks!
