love the new sketches. hehe... i have some similar guys in costumes on my most recent sketch book. i found a book in the library with all these asian outfits... fun to draw!

what happened to your car? did you run over an antelope? I did, and it stunk for months... actually it still stinks, but only in hot weather. it's been about a year and a half since i ran over the carcass... never wanted to get under my car and scrape it off. lol uhh... hah

Some simple sketches from my sketchbook. Studies and random thoughts, and sillouette copies of other peoples characters that post on CA.

tensai- it was for my illustration techniques class. we will be taught 5 different techniques, first was ink, i really enjoyed doing this piece, at first it was a disaster, but then my teacher gave me and hand and i got the hang of it, i will definately be doing more inks.

Honestly, nothing to say more than damn fine work. I chuckled a bit at the Hale sketches I think I've got a page or two floating around exactly like 'em. You gonna do more of a finish on that Wyeth copy or just the study? Which piece did you reference, looks like the Cthulhu one to me. Again fantastic work sir!

    Recursive_End-Thanks!

tensai-Thanks. since its multiple demos, i cant share much unlike if i took the actual inking class they have. But something to think about when inking, which you can apply to using other medium as well, is that you ink with or against the form, and this got me to really think about the forms of the face as i inked that face, more so than with pencil, just doing that one study, i think improved my pencil ability greatly. A good book would be to get a joseph clemet coll book, hes a good inker to study or even frazetta.

Nallen-Thanks. You should go to watts, i came out from NY.

    Listing-Thanks!

Before I go to bed Frazetta study, about an hour or so.
