I CAN SEE THEM! (you missed a bracket on the beginning of one of your IMG tags)

great sketches, i like where you're going with these, and while it may seem a bit messy, it gives me the impression that you're really concentrated on your work. some of the renderings look really good, like that last eye and the veiled character towards the middle of the series.

Maybe for the next installment throw us up a more simpler composition with a full figure, maybe even rendered if you have the time, that way we can crit with more precision.

wee sketch i done bout a month back

just to show what i'm capable of (2 pencil renderings from photo reference (i know its bad practice to rip off other artists, so for the first pic kudos to H R Giger, and for the second i copied a pencil study by Mark Mcreery of Stan Winston studios (the guy is awesome and i was tryin to emulate his pencil tecnique )

this is the first photoshop portrait i did for a friend around 6 months ago

and this is one i'm workin at the moment (work in progress)

please write what u think ppl, i love hearing where i need to improve, we cant become complacent can we

    Hi man
Nothing wrong in praticing on aliens, hehe - i do that a lot myself i just love them Small things are looking a bit off on it, but damn thats nice rendering you did! Great work with that man! The photoshop stuff still need some work tho - check out facial strukture and anatomy. Follow the lines in the head form and it will look much better. The oneeyed girl; se the line her lips are making and compare it to the lines the eyes are making. One line is going to Rome, the other is flying to paris Check out some of the cool dudes and see how they use photoshop to work on skintones and stuff.
    Keep em coming dude!

haven't been on in like years :-/, workin away flat out at my current course!
    (updates)

sculpey maquette i did this term:

    character designs

colour is all over the show but i think its pretty quirky :-D

    bita animation notes

few quick life paintings, since i've started this course they havent allowed us to do extended studies which is a tad poo, granted alot can be said for freeing up your style and tryin to portay detail as simply as poosible but i learned more about actual technique we spend like 2 weeks working on an extended oil painting and such

now that i'm almost finished for the holidays i'll try and get some more work up online!
