    Just a small update.....

too be honest i havent been doing much lately. Ive been doing school art.. but its not the same. And ive had geog coursework to do for school. Also... ive had tests and tests ..... im gonna scan some of my school art to show what ive been doing.

But less with excuses, im gonna try and pick up my art again. It feels like ive come to halt in terms of experimentation.. and taking stuff to new levels.. to me all my sketches looks the same.. just different context etc. I wanna work in a new style.. something more distinct than i have.

More to come i promise, gonna work more, more studies - specifically working in colour..

    But... the art....

    Nice updates here andy!

i love your characters and environments. Picture #187( the pencil one)
looks like it could be a great picture when you colour it.

But #190 just looks amazing, firstly its so round and smooth. Secondly,
that white with it looks just great, and plz do more like that. And you
are certianly improving with the colour studies, great! KEEP it up man!

Small update ( for now got more later ) this is some stuff for a school. Just been playing around with it and stuff..

About 1.5 hours work, got some texture stuff in there.. - texture was really my main aim. Photo Ref... (weak though. it had no good light or anything)

Its not amazing, but this is my baby im working on atm

The stupid photo taken by a friend at school.
oooo... About 8-10 hours work so far. Its over split canvas (reasons are in the prep work) its sort of based on work by Georgia O' keeffe> not yet finished but iove still got a few days of work left to do on it. Will post the finsihed one with better colours - crappy photo sry.

My Ugly mug, in contrast with my more beautiful painting.

    Thumbs up

You continue to create an impressive collection of work. I love the charector of the week, heh what a charector, did you notice you both have a similar expressions . It shows real improvment from the earlier charectors

The pencil work in this is really nice, and i'd love to see it in one of your excellent enviroments,

Also in your enviroments, i liked the one where you started to include a script into the building. I'd love to see more of this, charectoristics that speak of the culture and history, perhaps looking at architecture types that show charector/personality.

    Keep churning these concepts out

thanks for the encouragement Hazamataz - I agree with the culture stuff. Im gonna try doing alot more varied work.. so working on all periods and styles of buildings and stuff will help. Not just say futuristic stuff all the time etc.

Some 60's looking 007 space hero babe

This is quite cool, proportions may be off in places - i used a bit of reference... face came out ok..... anywho. CnC always appreciated around here.

Think im gonna colour it and add it to my portfolio if it comes out good.

Thanks BAKI - im defintly gonna be doing more. Digital stuff is what i need to work on most. - possibly more variation aswell. So doing digital stuff gets me away from drawing the same old stuff all the time (line work of robots and warriors and stuff) - also doing more stufff at school so its all good ....

that said im not sure if im doing enough art ... oh well.. life goes on.

    My creature design stuff ...

    Hi there,
Awesome progress and consequence, you can really be proud of that. Just keep on working.
I love the thumnails and developement of your waterlope. Nice clean lines for the thumbs, many different ideas, not just a variation of one or two, great!
