This is from an old thunderdome. I was never happy with the background, so I changed it:
Im gonna say, go for more gore. Alot more blood and innards. And maybe make the character a tiny bit bigger, she seems a bit lost. I like the colour palette btw.
I actually like the way you handled the gore, it works more as a graphic element than realistic guts. The only thing that I kinda dislike is the texture you used as the worm skin....but hey.
Im realy dig this. Like simple things. Well, maybe clear light source.
I've got much for this. Smart and clean, flawless victory.
I really like this as well. The pose on the girl is awesome...struck me right away...and the whole composition (this might have been said before) has a nice design to it....well thought out.
I like the idea of the pic, I think something along the same line would make a really cool logo(ie a long necked monster who's neck outlines the moon, getting its head chopped off by a warrior jumping midair)
I want to see more though, I dont like how it feels cropped. As someone said already flakes of blood dancing from the neck to the blade then from the blade to the severed head would complete the affect fairly well.
I like the tone of the peice alot. The way you did the cut is nice, as is the composition. I wish the head of the beast didn't look like a silly evil beaver though.
but i second methodicalchaos's comment
clean or dirty... not both.
