Very nice! I like the gas masks a lot! You certainly have a feeling for some cool design. I'd recommend working some more on your faces, though. They can't compete with the rest of your drawings.

    Hi man
    Nice start on your sb
A lot of good stuff - i like those gasmask. The first drawing is my favorit. The torso might be a tad short compared to the long legs, but the design is really cool. I agree with ~Faust~ - work some more with the faces and the overall anatomy and this is gonna look very good
    Keep em coming!

You have an interesting style, most of the time I don't go for overblown dark stuff, but these are ok by me.

Always remember to occasionally draw something out of your zone of comfort, it's fun but frustrating sometimes.

There is some nice work here but if you could go into a bit of detail about everypice. Media/Paper, Referance/No Ref. At the moment you are all over the place with the concistency of your work

The first has well realized Proportions but the next one doesn't. In my mind reference images are the next best thing to drawing from a live model.

The little blurb of how you get your image would help when giving C+C.

    Bengonzalez :
    Thanks for the comment ;
You observed well, the first image you quoted has been made from the picture of a model to get realistic proportions, but the second image was pure imagination.
About half of the time I use pictures of models

Here is an image I made last night. 30 minutes, in Photoshop, based on nothing but my imagination (and maybe some inspiration from Sibylla in kingdom of heaven).

    Hey Vorace,

Your sketchbook seems pretty impressive, and you definitely have a good sense of proportion and anatomy in your work. Try to work a little on your peoples heads without evil gothy helmets and stuff on, and show us some of your stuff with normal people on, not the ones with deformities or augmentations.

Other than that, some good work, looking forward to keeping track of your progress.

Talon of the silver : As you can see I tried to do some normal people. I had difficulties for the faces... it's why I like to draw gas masks or helmets on my characters.

    Some new stuff

All the drawing were made with a pencil. 15-20 minutes for each of them

A Sith Queen. I used a reference for the body's proportion

Some normal chicks. Used a ref again for the two

No ref for the last one.

    Nice!

I like almost all your stuff here, you have a great sense of composition, and the gas mask designs are tops. The lizard you just posted as well is excellent, believable and crisp. All I could ask for in your work is a bit more definition (some details tend to get lost in the sketchy style, mebbe some larger differences in line weighting) and more time spent on the faces - as some people have said, they are not up to the excellent standard of the rest of your sketches.

Ruzkin : thanks for the comment! Yeah, faces are my principal problem. I have big difficulties to render proportional faces.
Usually I doesn't go too much into the details because I doesnt like to take more than 20-30 minutes for a single picture

Snowsfall : You will be happy, I drew 2 new monstruous lizards

Flip the master : lol! thx for the comment. I'm a big fan of all Giger's creations, so I always have a lot of fun drawing his creatures.

Pen, 10min I had in mind a kind of mix beetween the tongue of a frog and the body of a lizard

    Pen, 5min A sea drake

An ''old'' drawing, for the dragon post in the Finished Works forum
Pen (with a watercolor filter) and some black and white coloration

Sorry, maybe I made some grammar mistakes, English isn't my first language

    Talking

i really like the Alien. Giger is one of my favorite artists as well. and i look up to him a lot.
also, a little crit on that Alien image you made. it looks like you just blacked the whole head - but this makes it look unreal. put some highlights in the head... like white line horizontally across the head to give it depth.
otherwise i love all your sketches here. they are A+.

Mattgamer : You are right, the alien's head would be more realistic with some reflection. I'll try to fix it. I already tried some reflection effects but they were not satisfying.
Wi_2 : Hehe, thx for the comment!

    Some new stuff

First, a scorpion, I wanted to practice a little bit the insects' anatomy
    5min, with a ref

Mattgamer : Hehe, thx for the appreciation!

    Some new stuff

I drew the characters of the AD&D game i'm doing with my friends since 4 years now.
The group is almost disbanded because each character is now too much powerfull and developped a super-ego

They are all made with pen, beetween 5 and 15 minutes

    Valerien, a mage

    Meneldil, a mighty paladin

    Malagar, a psionic lich

Edwin, a cleric, master of the planes

Bastagrim, a dwarven warrior, the tank of the group

    Bardiff, a pirate

Askiel, a ranger, king of the wood elves

and some colored pic I made in 5-6hours. It's the first time I really try to do stuff like that, entirely in color. I found this difficult and the picture is not yet finished, but I'm somewhat satisfied.

    Hello everyone

there's a long time since I posted last.

I didn't had a lot of time to draw this summer, I worked hard in a summer camp with millions of kids.

Here is some of my drawings, they are all done in 5 to 25 min, pencil, no ref.

    feel free to crit!
