I really dont post much, just lurk around but anyways
this is A caricature I was asked to do. I went far beyond what I was aksed but I wanted to experiment with a new technique.. Ive posted a picture of the guy.. and then of my process..
The technique is one where in (photoshop or painter.. they both have the same layer modes) where you first work out a tonal then using layer modes apply color.. it worked quite nicely.
I didnt come up with the technique I "borrowed" it from I think the guys handle is "digi" he did the big dog master and servant entry..
hows my likeness guys?

i like it muchly....
u should ask around on the forum for peoples pictures and just keep on doing Caricatures of forum members.
that would be awesome.
Thats one neat caricature you got there, you seem to have got everything down whilst keeping the likeness intact. Good work, the only thing is that background...im not feeling it at all, looks a bit rushed.
Kenny those are really sweet. You seem to get better and better at caricatures. I hope you and Kev do well with that this summer. One crit from me. I'm not crazy about the background. The color was a nice compliment, but I'd do something a little less loud, like the grayscale one. I like the fact you took this digital, though. Again, nice stuff, let's see more.
Background is definitely too busy. Perhaps something light and blurred out of focus, like in the original photo?
Other than that, I like both the likeness and the coloring method. Not to mention he looks like a dopey agent from the Matrix in the grayscale pic Keep it up.
no one really is feelin the bg.. Ill knock the stokes down and smooth it out..
chris you never answer your cell phone man.. anyways.. i posted my master servant entry on here
heres the link to that thread so you can see what I finally did with it.
