he's a real nice guy too. i had the pleasure of meeting him a few weeks back. you know, he is a lurker around here, and i was very suprised to find out he knows alot of our work on this site. i hope he sees this post, im sure he'd get a kick out of it. and yes, just to echo whats already been said, i love the guys work too -c36
James Jean is a great guy,
He spoke about his work at my school.
I was in the right place at the right time and was able to take a picture of him with Barron.
I wouldn't miss his show if I lived in L.A.
Yes , this guy is great. What i like about him and what i think others often lack is the amount of action he can pull into an illustration.
He's got great sense of motion and a nice feel for camera placement.

his new book is probably the best art book i've bought in the past year or so. very cool stuff.
