    Batman Begins International Trailer

I hold some very close memories of seeing TB's first Batman release.

And this just might beat the hell out of them.

curses, scooped! My geek mode went into overdrive watching this trailer. When they originally announced Christian Bale as Batman I tried really hard not to get my hopes up.. but now that I've seen the international trailer I don't give a damn. I'm positive that this movie is going to own Tim Burtons version. Have you all seen Christopher Nolan talking about the sequels already? The Joker is coming back in #2 and they're not going to kill him off, towards the end of #2 he's going to spill the acid on Harvey Dent to create 2 Face as one of the main villains for #3. So that being said, fantasy casting call, who should play the new Joker?

first i thought-what the hell? tibet? monks with swords? that is batman?
and then it all came together nicely...looks like a movie really worth checking out.although personally i think the new alfred actor is not as good as the first one
anyways, gotham city still looks abit cheesy. too much neon.

Adrien Brody. He's got the look, and the acting chops. Maybe a bit young, but otherwise perfect from my point of view.

i liked how they showed a few seconds of the scarecrow. ive been wondering what he looks like. true they just showed a sack over his haed but maybe thats before he cmes out with a full on suit.

for the joker i just hope they have someone who knows the role. a friend of mine loves that character and i never knew why. to me he just seemed kind of dumb. then he showed me an unedited version of one of the cartoon movies where he kills the second robin by making him laugh to death or something like that. all i know it was twisted as fuck and since then ive liked the joker a hell of a lot better. i just hope they are able to bring that into the next movie instead of some random clown guy robing a bank

I didn't even think of Adrien Brody, good call oKelvin. His build is perfect for the character, his face fits perfectly, and as you said, he has the acting chops to pull it off nicely. Chris Nolan has the rep to get him on board too.

They should put makeup all the hell over Mark Hamill and have him do The Joker Voice in live-action. If that could somehow be done it would absolutely pwn.

Here is an interesting interview with BATMAN and comic book artist Lee Bermejo!

" Lee did a couple of exclusive "concept art" drawings just for BATMAN ON FILM of villians that may be in the BATMAN BEGINS sequels. "

I have to admit, I had my doubts, especially considering the last two batman films. I don't blame them for wanting to call a mulligan. I just hope that it doesn't fall into the same cliché's consistent with all recent superhero flicks. In other words, I hope the director is the one doing the directing and not demographic analysts and marketing executives... You know. the same assholes who think that all black characters need to be rappers and that every single film needs to end in a gi-normous explosion.

"That's great, but we'd like Robin to act more... urban."
    "Say-what?"
    "Yes! That's perfect!"
    "Daaa-aaaamn!"
"Now say, 'That's one big-ass esplosion, Batmizzle!"

I would like to take this moment to say that if Tim Sale's Joker can somehow be rendered on camera, then omg.

Although hes looking older now,tha young Ray liotta would be my choice for the Joker, the psycotic acting he does near the end of "Turbulence" is perfect for the role...

and yes that wasnt a great movie..heh..

That trailer makes me feel like sitting up on my tricycle and shouting "THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED!"

As for the Joker, I think they should go back to the source and cast the reanimated corpse of Conrad Veidt.

THAT WAS TOTALLY WICKED! Like, for real!

Oh and Johnny Depp as the Joker. And while i'm at it, Al Pacino as Constantine, Keanu was less than nothing as a cynic private investigator.
