Hey Man! Good to have you back! It's been a while. These pages are really nice. I love the different points of view you take throughout the sequence. Was this for a job or just a personal project?

Hope you'll be posting some more. Good luck with University! Hope it works out.

yo man, glad to see you posting again. i like the comic you did, one crit i had is the 2nd page, middle panel, where the guy's grabbing the fish (or bait fish?) out of the bucket, and you have the line on the left side showing the reflection of the bucket, i think you should extend that higher than the level of the water. i was really confused when i first saw that, cause it made the water look like a block of ice and then the guy was reaching through the ice and... it just took me a while to figure out that that was water in a bucket, so i think you might want to take a look at that. also, last page, biggest panel, his left boot (right side of the page) looks a little weird, might want to check that out. dont know much 'bout painting stuff, so i cant crit the last piece much. what kind of uni you applying to? hope that goes well.

on a side note, your earlier cellphone-pic-referenced self-portrait look reminds me of steven segal in "under siege". and you're a cook. you're not segal, by any chance, are you? maybe his nephew?

    take care dude.

Man, I'm glad you are posting again. I missed your work.

My only crit on this last one, is that maybe that guy would be doing something more than just grimacing by the time the blade got that far through his neck..like screaming in agony At least I know I would. Maybe he's just one tough SOB. Don't stop posting.

well to be honest, someone said colour isnt that important as long as you get the tonal values right"!

For some reason im not completely comfortable with what im doing, il prolly have to try a different approach

    Hiya Cold,

Thanks for your comment in my sketchbook! Looks like you've got some really nice work here, and I'm always impressed with the range that you conceptart'ers have in terms of subject ~ nice work!

    Hey cold. Sweet art =)

Well, I used photoshop CS.. I did have to mess with my brushes to get them to work how they do. Go to your brush settings and make sure opacity jitter and flow jitter are on, and control is set to Pen Pressure. I have them on 0%. Go to brush tip shape, and set spacing to 1% (that gets rid of the circle trail thing). Thats basically it, if thats what you were asking

    christian,
i like the new stuff youve done, especially this last perspective one with the car and the girl. one crit, on the girl, it looks like her forehead is waaaaaay bigger than it should be, because her hairline starts further back than in all the other pictures of her. i like the next page of character sketches, especially the one where she's turning and firing. very dynamic, good stuff. her checking the gun is a good pic too; and the back muscle pic is sweet. keep them coming dude; peace.
