Cold, your work is simply inspiring to me as an amateur illustrator/designer.

I haven't had time to read the whole topic but it's amazing how you improved from your sketches into digital painting.

I was wandering, do you use photoshop + pen tablets for those?

I'm really interested in learning how you do your art!

Very nice! I dig the loose composition that then gets tightened up, it gives a good sense of movement to the visuals.

    Keep it up!

Yes, the colours on the last one do seem a bit 'muddy' to me. Maybe it's the temperatures? I'm not sure.

Other than that, you know how good you are. It's always a privilege to visit your sketchbook; huge respect from my side.

great works here, christian. stop playing games and make more cool pictures.

with the latest sketch maybe try hitting his head and shoulders with some hardcore dodge tool action making them overexposed. just a suggestion

Thanks for the tip. Use dodge tool all over actually. I still get that muddy feel, this prolly wrong choice of colour... nothing to do with brightness i guess

I like the girl in post #811 with the red hair.
The lighting is really nice although I fell like a light on her head/ hair would be a better focuspoint and the brighter red hair would look awesome on the dark/blue background. Nonetheless, very nice work, like most of your stuff here.
    Keep it up.

Such natural forms on your characters, it's fun to look at the earlier stages of your concepts.

Absolutely adore the robot designs on the last page. Unique design, great lighting and colours. I really like what your doing with these studies too, I think more people should get into the habit of using the pictures as pure reference, not full on copying out. It looks like you would learn far more from it. I should really try some of that.

Keep up the great work and thanks for your comments in my sb too.
