Hi man, your SB is AWESOME, really inspiring.
One question -if you don't mind- you talk earlier about some experiments in regard to texture methods (some involving overlay layers, others I don't know). Do you mind telling a little more about those methods? I'm really interested.

awesome studies as usual! i'm really learning a lot from your sb. thx again!

Btw just a quick qns, for your skin tone studies what do you look out for while doing it? is it to further understand how it reacts to light from diff angles, color or anything like that?

Yes yongs, mainly the differences in light hitting it, and often how bounce light effects it.

Like in shadow areas in a greenish lit room, the skin looses the red pigments and drifts to the orange/yellow spectrum, however in gabs and corners from flesh to flesh bounce-light increases in red pigments.

However I don't know everything about skin reactions to give you full advice, but i'll keep my eyes open when studying it.

I spent hours viewing your whole sketchbook and I would love to see more with pencils like in the beginning days of your sketchbook. Many ideas are great and I think the pencil level would be today an awesome one!

surus, i dunno pencil work or even lines in general, to me, they are just measurement tools, like blue print before the real work starts. So there not alot I do with it anymore sry

kirill - go for it, alll you need is lasso tool and layers and more lasso tooling - some textures overlay and few light sources. GLHF

    progress
