I just use leventep's public brush set

    http://rapidshare.com/files/22271789/Brush_Set.abr

n I adore the chalk variations and noise ones in Cole Eastburn's brush set

    http://www.imaginefx.com/02287754330...hop-files.html

What you will find in most cases you will see the same sort of brush in other brush sets. Most apparent ones are m@s.

Good to hear you're having a breather.

Hi there Cold - I remember you from the Gameartisans DWIV 2d forum - but you seemed to suddenly vanish, in the middle of it all. Even your thread disappeared. What happened?
It was a bit of a disappointment, as I found your works and process very inspirational.

Hi all. Long time no post, was studying very hard in the 3D section. Now I am available again.

I definitely need more practice in ENVIRONMENTS! I suck at them all, so I forcing myself out of my comfort zone.

Here some old pics and some environment pics from references. Crit hard and just

    Environments

    from reference (no eyedropper!)

I feel as though I am not learning anything doing these environment drawings...is working off reference for environments the best way to learn? where are the practice guidelines

Fab sketchbook, really enjoyed browsing through it all. I'm a first year games design student at UCLAN and your stuff is all over the studio walls... Very motivational, haha! Keep it up, looking forward to seeing the hunter in 3D

Loving all your different characters, a wealth of imagination.

With what you said about the environmentals, I think it's no bad thing having reference as you've got to get the information from somewhere, I suppose when you're copying it directly it becomes a problem. General practice with perspective can never hurt.

A great use of colour again though.

Nice sprite animation, that's lot of work. First timer too? I wouldn't be able to tell. I wouldn't mind seeing more examples.

What to say, you are so good from my viewpoint in whatever style you try yourself.
I've browsed through all your pages, read alot of comments to and I probably think your best work yet is the knight reaching top of the stairs.

Do you have some portfolio, finished works page beside SB so I check it out too ?

I'm interested also in your art background before joining here, cause from start you already know alot about drawing.
