You bought my book!? Why thankyou! If only I got royalties... sigh...

Yes, Moebius is just... right! His mark making and eye for detail just look spot on, regardless whether he's doing environments or characters. My favourite was The Airtight Garage which I first read in Heavy Metal years a go.

The pencil work on the ChOW's is excellent. I think the first character could perhaps have elongated arms a bit more, make him 'stringier', but maybe that's just me!

Quinn Simoes thanks for the comments - unfortunately I ended up not going with either, or any, but they were fun to do regardless

RandAlThor - I don't use graphite dust, but I do use a stomp that I've had forever - I swear I could draw with the thing. Plus, I have a chamee? chamoi? (how the f*ck do you SPELL THAT?) A small leather cloth the I use to wipe the line drawing to give it a base tone other than white. From there it's mostly pencil work with strategic erasings. Hope that helps

    kidult - thanks

    HunterKiller_ critters are fun

Salacuis - I'll swing by and post some crits.

Poshspice - I did indeedy Though I'm still waiting for it to arrive A true shame about the royalties - perhaps with the next one? Though I do know with some of the smaller publishing houses, you don't always get royalties - or was this a POD project, if you don't mind my asking (I didn't see who the publisher was).

I discovered Moebius in Heavy Metal as well, when I was about ten, and never connected stories with their titles, so I'm not sure which one you're referencing (I currently only have a fairly hefty collection of cards that a friend gave me, much to my shame - I need to pick up a collection or something!) But his line work made an impression on me that never really wore off.

Drat! I should have thought of the longer arms - you're right of course! that would really ad a nice nasty element to that guy

Pat - Hey man, thanks for stopping by! Long time no see And than you for your comments, it's means a lot.

Amir the night wolf Thanks for the kind words

    algenpfleger - Thank you!

crazy3dman Hey! long time no see! Thanks for stopping by

Okay, artwork from the past few days...

Um, let's see. Two pages of just general sketches and doodles, nothing serious there.

Three pages of DEEP work. Not going to go into a lengthy explanation of what I have in mind, but rather am going to let it unfold, so hang out and watch what surfaces

    All the best,
    ~Oreg.

GusTheRobot Glad I got your interest up but I've decided to play this one close so I'll not be posting anything further regarding the DEEP project until it's done/time for poll.

Iridyse - I haven't gotten quite comfortable with colour yet - at least digitally. I'm thinking about doing some work in oil, which I have more of a background in, but I'm trying to figure out a working process that will suite my needs - also looking at printers that will print larger than 8x11 because I want to be able to take sketchbook pages and move them to the type of paper that I work on. We'll see...

    Camara aw, thanks!

    stoph thanks man

    Goog Thanks!

    Hive_minD Heres' a poor sampling of s'moar

    Maidith See above

Pascallo Thanks! Glad you like 'em

Jake Kobrin Thanks, Jake. That actually makes two of us. I think at this point I can honestly say that quite possibly I've given up digital for good. I won't say that *won't ever* use it again, but I just simply can't get the results that I want with digital stuff. That, and at the end of the day, any artwork I've done digitally is stuck in the computer...

Amir the night wolf Am doing so - although a little slower than what i'd like for multiple reasons. Mostly because I'm funneling *A LOT* of energy into the DEEP project, but other reasons as well. (like a day job... )

    Bojee Hey man! thanks!

Ash888 Thanks, they're a lot of fun to do

Salacuis I am indeedy. Still workin' on stuff

solorpower Good God, Juan, long time no see! Hope everything is well at your end of the universe. Thanks for stopping by

    maxetormer thank you, daddy smurf

Undertow Mike, any time man. Bring it on.

some lame crap for the past few days/week or so.
