well, there's something I can at least see you need to work (of course, you know that too...)
Look around the forum... I know Phuzion is known for his girls.. among others here...
I think you're on the right track, though. They need a rhythm.
Oh, and everything else is tops!!

solid work, you can always just tell when someone understands what they see in how they draw it
dynamic stuff that conveys a sense of depth and form well.
I need to work on my non-organic stuff as well

They eyes aren't bad, starting to look a little more girlish.
I thought of something you could draw to get you inspired. What about a Mole(ish) Wizard??? Man that is a good idea
(sorry everyone, inside joke)

Some pretty cool stuff here Apollo. I especially like the way you are able to convey expressions in your characters. I'm also one for cartoon characters, which seems to be a large part of your style. I don't really have any comments beyond what the others have said already, so just keep it up!

...and we're back. thanks for hanging w/ us. i got a comission that was due friday (haha, for the first time i got done BEFORE deadline...as opposed to dead on so i haven't had a lot of time to sit and sketch. took the gf to a medical center today, she has crazy bad poison ivy anyhoo..there was an irritating fishing program on while i was sitting there and it inspired me to sketch a bit...
more to come my friends, more to come.

I like your style. I find it more intriging to see a new world on paper. I believe any somwhat talented artist can imitate life.
The only crit I would give is the one that you have already given yourself. Environment to set the scene and anatomy and shading to bring to life.

a few weekends ago i was on a trip to chicago and spent my time in the back of the van doing gestures of vehicles as we sped past them...wow, i learned a TON. really was able to get down to the core of what their forms were about. i'll spare you the indecipherable scribbles from the 20 pages or so i filled...but today i took a break to try and draw a SUV. it was going well so i decided to thow some gouache on as well. only problem is...almost all of my gestures are from the back! welp, one thing at a time right?

Nice cartoon style you have there, and good job with the gouache painting with the SUV study. I see a Hallmark quality to your work that is very marketable. Keep it up.... hangin', to the side, whatever...
