I'm getting a wee bit frustrated with this model. I can't tell whats wrong (ever get to that point? where you know theres something wrong, but can't pinpoint it?)
Anyway, I think its a proportion thing, ie the head is too big or something. When I put it up against the reference that I've got, then it looks fine so it might not even be that. ... sigh....

oh, P.S. She still needs a belly button and the arms need work, I haven't touched those at all yet.
Could you post a full front view and side view that includes the rest of the legs and feet. It's hard to tell from the 3/4 view, but I think the head might be slighltly to small, I'm not sure though.
Hmmm, hard to say. I agree head might be a tad bit small. But shoulders may be a little to bilky also - shes gort the uper body of a body-builder- to much mass on front shoulders and upper chest, to little collarbone showing, no sternum, ribcage showing at all. Shes so skinny, that I think she would have those visible, hips are a little too small, maybe, The legs are a little to smooth yet.
It might be that "V" shape that throws things off - shes muscular as an olympic swimmer girl - nothing wrong with that, but I got the impression thats not were U want to go.
O btw - is this nurbs or? How do U begin a thing like this? I only dabble with polygons...

As for the technique, its all polygons, and I use the box modeling technique as demonstrated by Bay Raitt and co. ( Spiraloid)
Its pretty tricky at first, but the more you do it the easier it gets. Technically anyway . Now I just gotta get the proportionate side down, and I'm good to go.
The head is too round. The sides of the skull are more flat planes than rounded curves.
Well, finally an update.
I haven't had a chance to work on the head again, thats next...
