    Remember those Loonatics?

Well...it looks like their design is getting re-done so they'll be a little...softer and less menacing. All because of a young 11 year old boy. Here's the story:

I'm waiting till I see these new designs before I decide if it was worth the effort...it's still a tragedy regardless...

Pretty strange that they're calling Bugs' bastard children "Japanese anime-styled". Anime bunnies are usually menacing in a different way:

The Pokemon geek inside me from years gone by would like to point out that Pikachu is a mouse. But yes.

its not a mouse. Its "annoying" in physical form. Literally, the word annoying has transcended its existance as only a man made word to describe a feeling and manifested itself as this yellow rat.

I'm actually curious to see what the new loonatic is about.
I've seen the new Batman cartoon, and man it's horrible. The art isn't as good and the story is lame. Wish they stopped at batman beyond. It'd be pretty funny if loonatic turn into another superhero story.

"Thomas couldn't figure out what was up with the plans to turn the old Looney Tunes gang into their Japanese anime-styled descendants"

Scuse me, but 1- THATS NOT ANIME! It's almost like what you get with Looney Tunes+Batman beyond.

2- What descendants? I mean, I dont recal Disney or Chuck Jones making anime styled cartoons. These people need an animation expert in there, I am offended by this article. Plus, cartoons are getting either wimpier and wimpier, or better and better. Not all heroes are softies. I liked Bat Beyond because he had an edge. I like the new Justice Leauge Unlimited, because its mroe cinematic and adult. Its actually one of my fav cartoons now. They do the action camera so much better, I drool over it.

I think things like "edge" "adult" are the problem
when done well, well, they're good
    but done poorly, it's crap
You know, like using 'y' instead of 'i' or just 'X' instead of 'ex'
It's "XTREME!!!" Like a yogurt commercial with a skateboarding predatory animal. Or owning an Xbox without a Gamecube

or... when you hit that age where you "OMG BARNEY IS GAY!"

That article made me happy, glad to know that good taste can still find fertile soil in the next generation.

I think the American cartoons closest to being 'anime' looking would be Avatar and the Cartoon Network Star Wars shorts. The colors.

Even though Pikachu is a mouse, I've always considered him a rabbit.

Maybe someone needs to finish reading comprehension first instead. The show features descendents of the original Loony Tunes characters. That's what the sentence is referring to.

The real deal looks like a mouse, but is more closely related to rabbits.
