    Red face *PORTRAIT WORKING WITH PENCIL!Shall we finish this drawing together,your critiques?:)

    last night, when i was bored from jobs, i begin to draw this

    after about 50mins i drowed this, in fact i wouldn't finish this drawing, but i decided to finish

    i'm amateur about drawing, i hope experienced friends may help me to finish this drawing with useful critiques

    i'm waiting for your critiques to be better

    Looking good so far, I say you should smooth out some of the sketchiness in it and add some darker values to the shadow areas to really make it pop.

    Exactly, you have a pretty good form to go by already. Add some smoother outlines on top of what you have now, then go back and according to your light source, add some darker shadows.

    how can i make better smoother outlines and shadows?

    i use different (opposite) pen lines onto the line that i want to make smoother with thicker pen...

    can you advise me another technics?

    or

    can you advise me a pen? which pen should i use for drawing and shading able to draw more realistic?

    i make some changes last night...

    i have a problem about shading , how can i solve the problem about the dirty weather, probably this problem is a result of bad shading!!!

    how can i solve this problem?!

    What it looks like to me is you're not sure if these should be totally rendered with shading, or if it should be lineart. I'm not saying you can't mix the two, but right now, it looks a tad strange. Ask yourself what method you want to use to make this pic.

    my main aim is lineart but i want to make stronger view with shading...

    is my way wrong for my aim?!

    No no... not at all. I'm also not the best artist, so don't write what I say down in stone. BUT.. I'd say go get dirty. REALLY strong shadows and junk, smudge the crap out of your shadows, so that the have more "flow"?

    I may not be making sense. because I'm tired as crazy and I had to much coffee and now I crashed.... so this could be jibberish, I'm sorry.
