    The most noticeable thing to me is that is hairline is where his eyebrows should be. either lower his eyes or raise his hair, but do something.

    Then, figure out where your light source is. how did you go about coloring this?

    Well, actually I posted this as an illustration for a friend how to post pictures online. I made it real quick (like 5 minutes) and colored it with a lot of materials from painter. I know its bad, thanks for the crit

    The key to Painter is thinking about Paint first, the more you know about using things like acrylic and oil paint the easier digital painting is.

    Starting on a pure white background, bad idea. Use a more neutral tone, say tan or gray next time. That way you can push the use of white as a highlight instead of the starting color.
