Now these are great! I like how the different cloths work together. the right ones tight pants and loose upper dress.
My only crit would be that the right ones face looks a little male (its a crit in case you didnt want it to look that way, if you wanted it to look like that, then it isnt ;-) )

Love the last one you posted - the pose is good, and the fabric looks great.

The way the fabric pools at the bottom of the figure on the left looks a bit off...I think it would end up being more of a puddle than the way you have drawn it....

Would love to see these progressed into value or color studies, especially that second one!

    The fixed butt looks awesome!

I'm not sure I understand the angle of the hand based on the thumb I'm seeing on the elf. You may want to consider clarifying that a little, since I think the angle we're seeing makes it look like the hand is backwards or the thumb broken. Also, I thought you were going to change the angle of the hilt on the sword to match the plane of the leg?

Doesn't make me love them any less...

Hello, Tiffany, Why all your masterpieces are not in this book under one cover: octopus climbing out of old Japanese drawings, children playing soccer unaware of new era huge changes coming, patient girls washing her wound after her favorite hurt her... Why are they like poor relatives outside? I wish they were under one roof. Please do it for Christmas spirit . I do notice that personal piece looks different in its own thread after being in the competition... It is like playing game on your own field. Everything looks so tied together .
I wish your colored elves were here as well. Everything started from them I think, they were the most brightest concentration of your own evolving style in those times.

Wonderful drawings and as always I feel so unguarded and relaxed looking at them. I swear I feel like they patting me, so gentle the pencils strokes. Just wish you colored all those beauties, the centaur taking all the aroma from flowesr into her lungs ( it needs second version, colored, such a swell idea, so appealing to people. it needs to be an illustration with proper surroundings). Look how beautiful it is and not cheesy at all, you kept it in borders of good strict taste. Your cats too should colored playing on the sunlit place somewhere.

I always appreciate this fine seduction from your images, I feel like I'm surrounded with attention and tiny little things to pleasure me, you work so much, put so many thoughts into everything in your image, from compositions to overall feeling for viewer to like it. So thank you...Hope to see your illustrations on book store shelves some fine day.

Now a little observation to spoil the delight.

The horse. It looks very attractive in very many things, the foreshortening, the gentle patting of pencils strokes, still effortless though. There is a nice illusion of a wind in its mane and it prolongs a fantasy, placing this horse in field full of flowers ( yeah, I'm obsessed).... But I noticed right away that the horse has human legs, especially the back legs. But all of them are too straight and too, too long in my opinion. One hoof taller than they should ibe my opinion. The distance from the knee down is too tall.

The other thing and this I checked with photos of horses, when they stay in this position the front legs making almost one line with neck and the feet are placed closer to center of the body under trunk something like this:
    http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/farp/horses/Image2.jpg
    http://jason.chelliah.org/horses/horses11.jpg

The chest is a little too much protruded forward too, I think. and the nose is tad too short and slight more overlapping would be better.
I might be wrong, of course.

The portrait is beautifully done from technical point of view, very nice sculptured feeling from it, it goes out of the limits of paper...Great portrait, the expression of the face is very subtle though. It is not lost in thought, it is alert, but a bit indefinite.. Like a train in transition between two stations, didn't come to any certain emotion yet. It is good, but not personal, i don't connect to person who is so distanced from me but still here. I will stay near for some time, changing form one foot to another waiting for response and then I'll go away.
Hope I didn't say too many stupid things at once.

Be well and thanks for B-day wish, it was sweet.

Deselect: Thank you, and thanks for the 5 stars.
bhanu: it's not easy, haha I wish it was , But I'm glad it comes across as effortless, Thank you
Ben: haha art babies! ok deal. they will look just like Leyendeckers babies, all freakish, way too cuddly, and glossy. Well I just haven't been drawing a lot lately. I don't know I just think my attention spand is a bit short. Thanks for stopping by here Ben,
    wim: ah! thank you wim.
Cold: oh contrare my friend. I think a bunch when I draw, Sometimes I think too much. But it makes me feel great that it all looks effortless.
Brendan N.: wow! thank you, such a nice compliment.
deep_set: thank you, thanks for stopping by here.
Loren: thanks buddy, see you soon.
Sve:WOW!! Sve I swear you are just great, thank you for spending the time to write all that. whenever I read your posts I always feel like I'm doing things right, or lets rephrase that, what I'm trying to do with my art comes across. And it makes me happy that you and the other people that posted a comment can see it. So I agree with you about coloring some of these. And you will get your wish in due time, I have things a brewing behind the curtains.
Thank you for the crits. too, I agree the horses legs are not looking super convinceing, I still need to understand more about Horse anatomy. I appreciate the time you took to write a thoughtful response Sve, and nothing you said sounded stupid.

here are the paintings from TD1.
    Cheers,
    -T

thanks, Tiff, they are overwhelming, need careful tasting with no hurry, like a good expensive wine in comfy chair.

I wish you posted the Japanese girls the last, they have totally different emotion, need some pause between pictures...
I love it , I will come more to enjoy and sing about them.
